We’re Mark Henninger and Danya Henninger, and we founded Imagic Digital in 1997.

Based in Philadelphia, we work with companies and firms to create compelling photos, videos and 360 tours.

We’re photographers and digital imaging experts who love to adopt new software and tech to capture the best imagery of the world around us.

Over our two-decade history, we’ve worked closely with hotels, golf clubs, yacht makers, architects, developers, home designers, construction companies, civil engineering firms, restaurants and other businesses both small and large.

Photography

Natural light, fantastic color, clear focus and great storytelling. That’s Imagic Digital photography.

Our clients have included hotel chains like Marriott and unique golf clubs like Pinehurst. We’ve shot resorts in St. Lucia and architecture in NYC.

We use a handful of cameras, including SLRs, drones, and action cams. Our equipment changes almost constantly as technology advances.

Mark holds certifications as a Google Master Photographer, Google Master Reviewer, Google Street View Trusted Photographer and Google Expert Director.

We work with public entities and private businesses to showcase both exterior and interior spaces in true 360-degree fashion.

We also do food and environmental portrait photography.

Video

Our drone and 360-degree video cameras give us great opportunity to showcase public spaces and parks, civil engineering projects and commercial developments.

This video showcase of the Cherry Street Pier uses interior drone photography and has a custom soundtrack.

This 360-degree clip showcasing the Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk is shot in 5.8k, the highest resolution available. Use your mouse or finger to pan around as the video plays — you can look in all directions.

This video tour of The Rail Park, aka “Philadelphia’s High Line,” was entirely shot and produced in less than 24 hours.

Our story

Imagic Digital is a partnership between Danya and Mark Henninger. (Yes, we’re married 🎉) When we founded our firm in 1997, we were self-taught digital explorers with a background in analog photography.

We met in the mid-90s in Providence, R.I. At the time, Mark’s loft had a full-color chemical darkroom right next to a computer running Photoshop 1.0. From then on, we were hooked. We used to stay up all night teaching ourselves how to use imaging software — and we maintain a fierce love and respect for these powerful tools that can represent and help re-imagine the world around us.

As pioneers in digital creative services, our client base grew quickly. We decided to concentrate on the hospitality industry, and began providing photos, videos and interactive presentations to golf clubs, hotels, luxury homes, yacht builders and others around the U.S. and throughout North America.

Over the past decade,  our focus has grown to include imaging technology consulting. Mark is editor AVS Forum, a global site focused on audio-visual equipment and home theater. He regularly provides insights to some of the world’s top TV and stereo manufacturers.

Meanwhile, Danya works in journalism as editor of Billy Penn at WHYY, and has developed a deep understanding of the challenges and needs of local communities and the groups and firms that drive them.

We pride ourselves on being early adopters.
